The Challenge

This engagement was completed by our Rhode Island team (formerly MERIT Solutions), now part of Charles IT.

The Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School serves hundreds of students each week across multiple studios, classrooms, and performance spaces. To support both in-person and remote learning, the school required technology that could seamlessly connect students, instructors, and families. From hybrid lessons to live performances, reliability was critical.

Without a stable IT environment, disruptions could impact instruction, limit accessibility, and reduce the overall learning experience—especially for students joining remotely from different locations.

The Solution

We implemented a comprehensive technology strategy designed to support hybrid learning, live performance streaming, and reliable day-to-day operations.

This included:

  • Managed IT support and infrastructure to ensure consistent performance
  • Hybrid learning technology to enable seamless in-person and remote instruction
  • Live streaming capabilities for performances and events
  • On-site technical support to assist staff and instructors in real time
  • Network management and cybersecurity to protect systems and ensure reliability
